About This Item

Universal Seal™ DZ-500 High Efficiency Double Chamber Vacuum Packaging Machine

Product Description

The Universal Seal™ DZ-500 High Efficiency Double Chamber Vacuum Packaging Machine is a heavy-duty industrial vacuum sealing solution designed for high-volume commercial packaging applications. Featuring a dual-chamber vacuum system, four sealing bars and durable stainless steel construction, this machine supports efficient packaging operations in food processing units, commercial kitchens, manufacturing facilities and industrial packaging businesses.

The machine operates with two vacuum chambers that can be used alternately, allowing operators to prepare the next batch of products while the previous batch undergoes vacuum sealing. This arrangement helps reduce idle time and improve overall packaging productivity compared with conventional single-chamber machines.

Powered by a 2000W motor system with 1000W sealing power, the DZ-500 is designed to remove air from compatible vacuum packaging pouches and create secure, consistent heat seals.

Its vacuum system has a specified ultimate vacuum pressure of 1 kPa, helping reduce oxygen exposure inside suitable packaging. This process can help maintain product quality, minimize oxidation and support longer storage life when combined with appropriate packaging materials and storage conditions.

The machine features two sealing bars in each chamber, providing four sealing bars in total. This configuration allows multiple compatible pouches to be arranged for packaging during each operating cycle.

With its stainless steel body, SS201 vacuum chambers and commercial-grade construction, the DZ-500 is suitable for demanding packaging environments requiring consistent performance and efficient operation.

Key Features

1. High-Efficiency Double Chamber Design

Equipped with two vacuum chambers that operate alternately, allowing operators to prepare products in one chamber while the other completes its vacuum sealing cycle.

This design helps minimize waiting time and improve production efficiency.

2. Four Sealing Bars

Each chamber contains two sealing bars, providing a total of four sealing bars across the machine.

The parallel sealing bar arrangement supports packaging multiple smaller pouches or suitably sized larger packages during each cycle.

3. Heavy-Duty Vacuum Pump System

Designed to extract air efficiently from compatible vacuum packaging pouches.

The specified 1 kPa ultimate vacuum pressure supports deep vacuum packaging, depending on product characteristics, machine condition and operating settings.

4. Stainless Steel Construction

Features a durable stainless steel body with SS201 stainless steel vacuum chambers, offering a robust construction suitable for commercial and industrial environments.

5. Powerful Industrial Performance

Equipped with a specified 2000W motor power and 1000W sealing power, supporting demanding commercial vacuum packaging applications.

6. Adjustable Vacuum & Sealing Parameters

The machine's vacuum and sealing settings can be adjusted according to product requirements and compatible packaging materials, subject to the controls fitted to the supplied model.

7. Efficient Multi-Pouch Packaging

The double-chamber arrangement and parallel sealing bars allow operators to arrange multiple compatible vacuum pouches, helping increase packaging output.

8. Secure Heat Sealing

Designed to create consistent heat seals on compatible vacuum packaging bags when the correct sealing settings are used.

9. Helps Maintain Product Freshness

By reducing air exposure, vacuum packaging can help maintain the appearance, flavor and quality of suitable food products.

10. Helps Reduce Freezer Burn

When used with suitable freezer-safe vacuum pouches, vacuum packaging helps minimize air contact and reduce freezer burn during frozen food storage.

11. Suitable for Commercial Packaging

Designed for businesses requiring regular vacuum packaging of food products, agricultural commodities and compatible industrial goods.

Applications

1. Meat & Poultry Processing

Suitable for vacuum packaging compatible meat and poultry products, including:

  • Fresh meat cuts
  • Chicken and poultry portions
  • Sausages
  • Marinated meat products
  • Frozen meat products

Vacuum packaging helps reduce air exposure and freezer burn when products are handled and stored under appropriate food safety conditions.

2. Seafood Packaging

Suitable for packaging compatible seafood products, such as:

  • Fish fillets
  • Whole fish within chamber capacity
  • Prawns and shrimp
  • Selected shellfish products
  • Frozen seafood

The vacuum sealing process helps reduce oxygen exposure during refrigerated or frozen storage.

3. Dry Fruits & Nuts Packaging

Ideal for packaging compatible dry food products, including:

  • Almonds
  • Cashews
  • Walnuts
  • Peanuts
  • Pistachios
  • Mixed dry fruits

Vacuum packaging can help reduce exposure to air and support product quality during storage.

7. Medical & Pharmaceutical Packaging

May be used for selected non-sterile packaging applications involving compatible medical accessories, pharmaceutical supplies and healthcare products.

Sterile or regulated packaging applications require validated equipment, materials and processes.

8. Industrial Packaging

Suitable for selected hardware components, mechanical parts, tools and other compatible industrial products requiring protective packaging.

How to Operate the DZ-500 Double Chamber Vacuum Packaging Machine

Step 1 – Prepare the Machine

Place the machine on a stable, level surface with adequate ventilation and sufficient working space.

Ensure that both vacuum chambers, sealing bars and chamber gaskets are clean.

Step 2 – Connect the Power Supply

Connect the machine to the specified AC 380V, 50Hz electrical supply using an appropriately installed electrical connection.

Installation should be performed by qualified personnel according to the machine's electrical requirements.

Step 3 – Select Compatible Vacuum Pouches

Choose heat-sealable vacuum packaging bags suitable for chamber vacuum sealing.

Ensure that the pouch dimensions fit within the chamber and sealing bar arrangement.

Step 4 – Load the Products

Place the products inside the vacuum pouches, leaving sufficient space at the open end for proper sealing.

Step 5 – Position the Pouches

Arrange the filled pouches inside the first vacuum chamber.

Position the open edges of the bags correctly across the sealing bars, ensuring that the sealing areas are clean and free from wrinkles.

Step 6 – Adjust Vacuum & Sealing Settings

Set the vacuum time, sealing time and other available operating parameters according to the product type and packaging material.

Step 7 – Start the Vacuum Sealing Cycle

Position the chamber lid over the first chamber and activate the vacuum sealing process according to the machine's operating procedure.

Step 8 – Prepare the Second Chamber

While the first chamber is processing, arrange the next batch of products in the second chamber.

Step 9 – Alternate Between Chambers

Once the first cycle is complete and the chamber has safely returned to atmospheric pressure, move the lid to the second chamber and begin the next cycle.

Step 10 – Inspect the Sealed Packages

Remove the completed packages and check the seals for proper bonding, wrinkles or gaps.

Continue alternating between chambers according to production requirements.

Maintenance & Care

1. Regular Cleaning

Clean both vacuum chambers, sealing bars and accessible surfaces after each production run.

Remove food particles, dust and packaging residue to maintain hygienic operation.

2. Sealing Bar Inspection

Inspect the sealing elements and protective Teflon coverings regularly for wear, damage or residue buildup.

Replace worn components when necessary.

3. Vacuum Pump Maintenance

Follow the manufacturer's recommended vacuum pump maintenance schedule.

If the machine uses an oil-lubricated vacuum pump, inspect and replace the oil according to the manufacturer's instructions.

4. Chamber Gasket Maintenance

Inspect the chamber gaskets and lid contact surfaces for damage, wear or improper fitting.

Damaged gaskets may affect vacuum performance.

5. Electrical Component Inspection

Regularly check power cables, switches, connections and control components.

Disconnect and isolate the electrical supply before servicing.

6. Proper Storage & Operating Environment

Keep the machine in a clean, dry and well-ventilated environment.

Avoid excessive moisture, dust and unsuitable operating conditions.
