Universal Seal™ FR-900 Heavy Duty Horizontal Band Sealer

The Universal Seal™ FR-900 Heavy Duty Horizontal Continuous Band Sealer is designed for fast, continuous and reliable sealing of high-grade and laminated pouches in commercial and industrial packaging applications. Its durable mild steel body, digital control panel and integrated conveyor system make it suitable for regular packaging operations where consistent sealing and higher productivity are required.

The machine offers an adjustable sealing speed of 0–12 m/min, a sealing width of up to 12 mm, and a temperature range of 30–300°C, allowing operators to adjust the settings according to compatible pouch materials and sealing requirements. The conveyor supports loads of up to 5 kg, helping filled pouches move smoothly through the continuous sealing process.

How to Use

Machine Setup: Place the FR-900 on a stable and level working surface. Check the electrical connection and ensure all machine components are correctly positioned before switching it on.

Set Temperature & Speed: Adjust the sealing temperature and conveyor speed according to the type and thickness of the compatible pouch material. Allow the machine to reach the required operating temperature.

Prepare the Pouch: Ensure the pouch sealing area is clean, properly aligned and free from product residue, oil, moisture or excessive wrinkles.

Feed the Pouch: Place the filled pouch onto the conveyor and guide its open edge correctly into the sealing section.

Continuous Sealing: The conveyor carries the pouch through the heating, sealing and cooling sections to complete the sealing process.

Inspect the Seal: Collect the sealed pouch at the conveyor outlet and check the seal for proper bonding, alignment and consistency. Adjust temperature or speed when required.

Maintenance

Keep the machine surface, conveyor and sealing area clean to prevent dust and packaging residue from accumulating.

Regularly inspect the sealing bands, conveyor belt, heating components and moving parts for wear or damage. Clean the sealing area carefully using suitable materials after the machine has been switched off and cooled.

Periodically inspect the power cable, switches, temperature controller and electrical connections. Before routine production, perform a short test run to confirm that the conveyor, heating and sealing functions are operating correctly.

Always switch off and disconnect the machine from the electrical supply before carrying out cleaning, inspection or maintenance.
