Premium Black Solvent Ink

The Universal Seal™ Premium Black Solvent Ink Cartridge is designed for professional industrial coding applications where clear, dark and reliable printing is required. Its solvent-based black ink provides good adhesion on compatible packaging materials and is particularly useful for non-porous surfaces.

High-Capacity 47ml Cartridge

Featuring a 47ml ink reservoir, this premium cartridge provides increased ink capacity for regular production environments and helps reduce the frequency of cartridge replacement during batch coding operations.

12.7mm (0.5 Inch) Print Height

The cartridge supports a maximum print height of 12.7mm or 0.5 inch, making it suitable for compact product information including manufacturing dates, expiry dates, prices, batch details and traceability codes.

High-Resolution Printing

With printing resolution of up to 600 DPI, the cartridge can produce sharp text and detailed machine-readable content when used with a compatible TIJ printer. 300 DPI is recommended in Universal Seal's current specification for a balance of print quality and performance.

Fast-Drying Solvent Formulation

The premium solvent formulation is designed for fast drying and strong adhesion, helping reduce smudging during product coding. It is suitable for compatible non-porous packaging such as plastic containers, glossy pouches, aluminium foil, metal and glass.

Print Multiple Types of Content

The cartridge can be used with a compatible TIJ system to print MFG Date, EXP Date, MRP, Batch No., Lot No., serial numbers, text, logos, barcodes and QR codes, allowing one cartridge to support a wide range of product identification and traceability requirements.

Handheld & Online TIJ Applications

It is designed for use with compatible 12.7mm handheld TIJ printers and online/production-line TIJ coding systems, making it suitable for both portable batch coding and continuous packaging operations. Universal Seal's G7 online TIJ system, for example, is currently offered with a premium black solvent cartridge.

Suitable for Multiple Industries

The cartridge is suitable for coding applications across food packaging, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, FMCG, beverages, chemicals, electronics, logistics and general manufacturing, subject to the packaging substrate and ink compatibility.
