The Universal Seal™ FR-900 Heavy Duty MS Vertical Continuous Band Sealer is a reliable and efficient packaging machine designed for continuous sealing of high-grade and laminated pouches. Built with a durable mild steel body, the FR-900 is designed for regular commercial and industrial packaging operations. It features a digital controller, adjustable sealing speed of 0–12 m/min, sealing width of 6–12 mm, and an adjustable temperature range of 0–300°C for different compatible pouch materials.

The machine offers a height adjustment of up to approximately 14 inches, allowing greater flexibility for different pouch sizes. Its integrated conveyor can handle loads of approximately 4 kg, while the machine is designed for extended operation of approximately 8–10 hours, subject to appropriate operating conditions and recommended maintenance.

How to Use

Machine Setup: Place the FR-900 Vertical Band Sealer on a stable and level working surface. Ensure that the conveyor, sealing assembly and other components are correctly positioned.

Power Connection: Connect the machine to a suitable 220V, 50Hz power supply and switch on the main power.

Adjust Machine Height: Set the vertical height according to the size and position of the pouch to ensure proper alignment with the sealing section.

Set Temperature & Speed: Adjust the temperature and conveyor speed according to the pouch material, thickness and required sealing quality. Allow sufficient time for the machine to reach the selected operating temperature.

Prepare the Pouches: Ensure that the sealing edge of each pouch is properly aligned, clean and free from moisture, oil, product residue or wrinkles.

Start Sealing: Position the filled pouch upright on the conveyor and guide its open edge into the sealing section. The conveyor will move the pouch continuously through the heating, sealing and cooling sections.

Inspect the Seal: Collect the pouch from the output side and inspect the seal for proper adhesion, alignment and consistency. Adjust the temperature or conveyor speed if required.

Maintenance

Regular Cleaning: Keep the conveyor belt, sealing area and machine body clean. Remove pouch residue, dust and other contaminants after regular operation.

Inspect Sealing Components: Periodically check the Teflon belts, sealing bands, rollers and heating components for wear or damage and replace them when necessary.

Check Conveyor System: Ensure the conveyor moves smoothly and remains properly aligned during operation.

Electrical Inspection: Regularly inspect the power cable, switches and electrical connections for visible damage or loose connections.

Power Off After Use: Always switch off and disconnect the machine from the electrical supply before cleaning, inspection or maintenance.
